Happy New Year everyone! While most people are making resolutions to lose weight, quit smoking, exercise more, etc., here at DZone Software, we’re making resolutions to help improve the way we manage our knowledge.
Knowledge management should be a daily activity in your organization that each and every person participates in. So as part of our Knowledge Management resolutions, we decided to interview different members of our team to see what they would be doing to better manage knowledge.
Today we have Ashley, our Design Director, who is making the resolution to upload new collateral to AnswerHub as soon as it’s ready for public consumption.
We’re constantly striving to produce the best marketing collateral for our sales team to inform potential customers about the great benefits of using AnswerHub for knowledge management, collaboration and customer service. Due to changing needs we are updating these documents frequently, posing a challenge when we have to inform each sales and customer success team member of the updates.
We've found it is much more efficient to post our updates to a central location instead of alerting the sales team that there is a new version of their favorite collateral piece, individually each time. Through the use of AnswerHub, each team member will automatically receive an email notification whenever I upload a new version of a document.
